US bridge construction collapse kills three
A newly-installed 40t bridge girder collapsed onto the Interstate 70 in Colorado yesterday, killing all three occupants of a vehicle travelling on the highway. The 35m steel plate girder had been put in place earlier in the week as part of a US.95 million project to improve the interchange between the I-70 and the C470.
