Previously an iron bridge, was here with low headroom<br><br>Information provided by Pavel Walsh:<br>One of the three bridges across the Canale Grande (more are Rialto Bridge and the Ponte degli Scarzi). Built as a provisional arrangement of wood, as a replacement for an iron bridge, which was built in 1854 by the Austrians. She should be replaced by a bridge made of marble, but it serves the pedestrian traffic until today.
