Information provided by Mr Michalowsky:<br>This bridge is a legacy of the former light rail, which was created as they say as gesamtkunstwerk for Vienna by Otto Wagner. Wagner was the architect who has shaped the Art Nouveau of Vienna structurally. The Stadtbahn was abandoned, though, but the route with many buildings continues to be including this beautiful bridge. This had been intended as "Gateway to the West" and is therefore particularly been decorated. It is more than 100 m long report me one. It is located in the course of the present U6 between Gumpendorferstrasse and Längenfeldgasse stations. Also this bridge crosses the Vienna and the surrounding streets, which are called "Wienzeile" there.
